Swingin' Away!

In Mt. Pleasant there is an amazing swing that we went to on one of our Sunday adventures. It was frigidly cold that night but sat on that swing for hours! It was a blast even though one of my toes nearly froze off.

It's Beginnning to Look a Lot Like Christmas!

After we came back from Thanksgiving Break we put up our tree. To continue the cowboy theme our Christmas tree was covered in cowboy hats, ropes, chili peppers, bandanna bows, and even chaps! It was super cute and totally fit in with our apartment!

Fall Fun!

Over Thanksgiving Break Tiffany and I decided to have some fun and
make pumpkin chocolate chip cookies. Yum!

Before. . .

After. . .

After!

Another Blind Date From You Know Where!

I am just a lucky girl. The girl who lives in the apartment below mine came up one night and asked if I wanted to go on a date. Well can I say no when I have so few opportunities? Nope! She explained that she and her roommate had already planned dates for that night before she found out that her friend was coming so she needed to find a date for him. She next went on to describe him. He was a long time friend who lived in Provo and is . . . 29! Ahhh! What did I get myself into? We were planning on going out for ice cream and heading to the park. Mind you this was in November! I bundled up and headed on my way. When I got to my neighbor's apartment, I found out that our plans had changed to pizza and a movie. This led to an awkward car ride with my date to pick up the pizza. There was a great lack of conversation except for a recap of my date's experience at Snow. We got back and I found out that my neighbor's had asked out two of my other neighbors Stetson and Jake. We were pretty surprised to see each other. By this time I was roasting because of all of my layers, but my one opportunity to change was taken away from me by Stetson who chivalrously offered to get ice for our drinks (I'm pretty sure that he was just looking for an escape). So I was dying of head and awkwardness. I ended up squished between my date and Stetson who was sitting by his date on a three person couch. It was pretty uncomfortable. Needless to say nothing came from that date other than a greater appreciation for non-blind dates! : )

The Blind Date From You Know Where!

My roommates gave me an ultimatum and told me that I needed to find a date to the Snow Ball, the Institute Semi-Formal dance, or they would find one for me. I thought they were kidding but I should have known better. The night before the dance they found me a date. It was fun to get out of my apartment but I have to say that I am not a fan of blind dates. . . at all!

Me in my hot dress!

My date showed up in a t-shirt and jeans. Awkward!

My roommates were not happy with him. Watch out!

Halloween Fun!

The week of Halloween the Ephraim College 10th Ward had their Halloween party. There was fun and games with plenty of treats. There was also a Fear Factor competition for the strong of stomach. (Yuck, that part was nasty!)

Kris is a sweet tootsie roll.

Pete was a crayon, pointy head and all.

Krista was a clog dancer. She's pretty much amazing!

I went as Sleeping Beauty. Ha, ha get it!

Pete and I got some gorgeous pictures with the doughnuts on a string. It's a fabulous Halloween game but it doesn't make for the most glamorous pictures.

Ow, ow!

Prankster!

My roommates decided that it would be fun to play a new game: Lock Your Roommates in the Bathroom.
I was a reluctant player in this game. The worst part was that my roommates left after they locked me in.
It was only a few minutes but it felt like an eternity!

This is a picture of me after I was set free. Needless to say I was quite annoyed. (This is also probably the worst picture of me ever!)
